Done Deals™

The Done Deals™ Challenge was developed to recognize, celebrate, and publicize business conducted between WBEs and WPEO’s corporate sponsors, and to inspire more of these contracts.

A Done Deal™ occurs when:

  1. A contract is signed between a WPEO-certified WBE and WPEO corporate sponsor, and the WBE had competition on the contract bid (purchasing agents could have selected another vendor), or
  2. A contract is signed between two WBE firms, one of which must be WPEO-certified.

*Purchase orders can be considered a form of contract if there is competition in the biding/sourcing process

The Done Deals™ program has two primary goals:

  • To provide recognition and acknowledgement of business being conducted between corporate sponsors and WBEs. The Done Deals™ initiative does not track all qualified Done Deals but does acknowledge those deals that are reported to the WPEO. Therefore, it informs all members about successful contracting and business opportunities that may have resulted from being a WPEO WBE or corporate sponsor.
  • To provide a means of measuring the impact of the WPEO on increasing opportunities and successes in contracting activity between WBEs and WBEs and between WBEs and WPEO corporate sponsor.
