Winners in all categories were formally announced during presentations on Monday, June 6 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

Devra Karlebach, President of Glyphic Technologies, Inc. WPEO - NY www.glytec.com was featured in Crain's Small Business on July 25, 2005 in an article on supplier diversity initiatives. Specifically, the article discussed Glyphic's contract with Major League Baseball's supplier diversity department. The article also references the Women Presidents' Educational Organization as one of the organizations providing Women Business owners with WBE certification.

Orit President of the O Group, (www.ogroup.net) WPEO - NY was featured in Women's Enterprise USA in the July/August issue. The article discussed The O Group's success at creating brands, the feature appeared in the industry focus: hospitality and marketing section. The company's philosophy is that branding is the basis of a product. As once it is established, a product can be communicated on many different levels and the message will be consistent.

Susan Phillips Bari, President of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), has introduced her second book, Partnering for Profit - Success Strategies for Tomorrow's Supply Chain, (published by WBENC, June 2005, $15.95, through a grant from Manpower Inc.). WBENC launched Bari's book at its Women in Business 2005: Sharing the Vision national conference and business fair, June 28-30 in Las Vegas, NV, distributing more than 2,000 copies to conference attendees.
