Mardy Sitzer opened backOfficenyc in 2001 as a natural outgrowth of her independent consulting group, which was initially established in 1995. This consultancy focused on providing creative and support services normally found in much larger companies, to the growing number of entrepreneurial enterprises emerging in the new economy.

Ms. Sitzer's aim continues to be "bringing the full power and support of a professional 'backoffice' to these small and growing organizations," providing them with a level playing field against much larger competitors. backOfficenyc provides a single source for the creative, production and operation needs of clients with marketing and communication solutions such as newsletters, brochures, direct mail, websites, e-zines and more. The goal remains simply to execute the vision of their clients in the most cost effective and quality driven way. Today, Ms. Sitzer's organization continues to expand in size and amount of services it brings to their clients, and boasts of maintaining many of its clients throughout its ten year existence.

She has a proven track record in sales, marketing and multi-location production operations for Fortune 500 companies.
