Brenda Robeson is the Director of Corporate Services at Freddie Mac, headquartered in McLean, VA. One of the functions for which Brenda is responsible is supplier diversity.

Under Brenda's leadership, Freddie Mac has developed an award-winning supplier diversity program. Freddie Mac insists on contracting only with the very best suppliers and knows that it is important to cast a wide net in order to accomplish that. Brenda explains that woman-owned business enterprises are among the most highly qualified, innovative, creative, dynamic and cost-efficient companies with which one can do business, so the supplier diversity effort is time well spent. For Brenda and Freddie Mac, it is simply smart business.

Brenda has demonstrated her commitment to supplier diversity, to WBEs and to the WPEO in thought, word and deed. She is an active, enthusiastic partner with the WPEO, serving as a member of the board of directors, a participant on the certification committee, and one of the original members of Washington's very active steering committee. Brenda states that within her already rewarding involvement with supplier diversity, the DC steering committee is perhaps the most fulfilling. "It provides me with the opportunity to work together with the most amazing group of women to create a thriving community of corporations and WBEs committed to doing business with each other. I am dedicated to ensuring that the WPEO remains a valuable resource for WBEs and corporations to learn, grow, develop and make connections. Working with the remarkable women of the steering committee, it is bound to happen."
