Brenda Loube is President and Co-Founder of Corporate
Fitness Works, Inc (CFW), a certified woman owned business
through WBENC. Corporate Fitness Works provides customized
health promotion and fitness management services to corporations,
hospitals, government agencies, office park developers and
retirement communities throughout the United States Brenda
has 30 years of extensive experience in wellness and fitness
programming for all age groups. She earned a Bachelor of Science
in Physical Education degree from Towson State University
in Maryland and a Master of Science in Physical Education
with an emphasis in Cardiac Rehabilitation from the University
of Wisconsin.
Brenda's desire is to help her clients establish wellness
initiatives so employees and residents can achieve their optimal
health and reduce preventable health care costs to the community
or business. Brenda has been on the board for Women Business
Owners of Maryland, was appointed as Chairperson for the Maryland
Advisory Council on Physical Fitness, member of the Advisory
Board for the International Council on Active Aging and presently
sits on the Board of Directors for the American Breast Cancer
Foundation. Brenda is a recent recipient of the Health Educator
of the Year Award from the American Association for Health
Education and the prestigious William Anderson Award from
AAHPERD. Brenda enjoys speaking and has recently presented
at National Conferences for the American Association of Homes
and Services for the Aging and the Society for Food Service
Managers. Corporate Fitness Works and Brenda Loube received
the outstanding Women Business Enterprise in Washington, D.C
for 2004.
